Choosing an Interior Fan for Your Caravan

An interior caravan fan directs airflow towards the people using the space. Positioned near a bed, dinette or lounge, it provides an adjustable breeze without taking up bench space.

The SJRV Volt Safe fan operates on 12V or 24V DC and combines three speeds, remote control and automatic shut-off timers. Black and white options suit different caravan interiors.

Interior Fan or Roof Extraction Fan?

An interior fan circulates air within the cabin and directs a breeze towards a seating or sleeping area.

A roof extraction fan moves air through a roof opening. The two can work together: the roof fan provides air exchange while the interior fan directs airflow where you want it.

12V and 24V Compatibility

The Volt Safe fan accepts 12V or 24V DC power, making it suitable for either type of compatible electrical system.

It runs directly from the appropriate DC supply, without needing an inverter to convert battery power to 240V.

Three Adjustable Speeds

Choose Low, Medium or High to adjust the airflow.

The specified maximum airflow is 238m³/h. Lower speeds provide a gentler breeze, while higher speeds increase air movement.

Power Consumption

The listed current draw varies with speed and supply voltage:

For example, eight hours at the listed 12V Low setting uses approximately 0.96Ah. This is a calculation from the published current figure, rather than a battery-runtime guarantee.

Remote Control and Automatic Timers

The included remote lets you adjust the fan without reaching the mounted unit. Manual controls with illuminated indicators are also provided.

Choose an automatic shut-off timer of 3, 6, 9 or 12 hours to match your preferred running period.

Positioning Near Beds and Living Areas

The fan is suitable for vertical mounting and has adjustable airflow direction.

Choose a position that allows the breeze to reach the bed or seating area. Allow space for adjustment and access to the controls.
