28L Gas and Electric Hot Water for Caravans and Motorhomes
Enjoy hot water for showers, washing dishes and everyday touring with the Global Heritage WTD128 caravan hot water system.
Its 28-litre storage tank combines Universal LPG heating with a 240V electric element, providing a choice of heating sources at powered sites or away from mains electricity. Gas and electric heating can also operate together for faster initial heat-up.
LPG or Electric Heating
Use LPG when mains power is unavailable, or select electric heating when connected to a suitable AC supply.
The 1.4kW electric element operates on 220–240V AC. The system also requires a 12V DC connection for its controls, with a listed DC input of 0.65A.
Faster Initial Heating with Combined Operation
From a starting water temperature of 20°C, the approximate time to reach 65°C is:

Combined operation is intended for initial heat-up. Once the preset temperature is reached, the manual specifies switching off gas heating when continuing with electric operation.
28-Litre Storage Tank
The tank stores 28 litres of water, with a maximum water temperature of 65°C.
This is a storage hot water system: it heats water within the tank for use through the caravan’s plumbing. The amount of mixed warm water available depends on incoming water temperature, stored temperature and usage.
Integrated Controls and Service Access
The WTD128 includes a user-friendly control panel, integrated gas regulator and hinged black exterior access door.
Rear water connections and a securing strap form part of its installation arrangement.
Sacrificial Anode for Tank Protection
A sacrificial anode helps protect the tank against corrosion.
Periodic anode inspection and replacement, together with the maintenance described in the manual, support ongoing tank care.
Compact Installation Dimensions
