SJRV Caravan Window 450mm H × 500mm W – Blind & Flyscreen

Caravan Window – 450mm High × 500mm Wide

The SJRV 450mm H × 500mm W caravan window combines double-glazed acrylic, push-out ventilation, a blockout blind and a flyscreen in a compact window assembly.

Its slightly wider-than-tall proportions suit caravan and RV layouts needing daylight and fresh air without a large window. The integrated blind and screen provide privacy, light control and insect protection without separate window coverings.

Measurements are Height × Width: 450mm high × 500mm wide. These identify the nominal window size, not the overall external frame dimensions.

Radius and square corner profiles are available for caravan renovations, replacement installations and new RV builds.

Double-glazed, UV-resistant acrylic

The flat acrylic panel features double glazing to help reduce heat transfer through the window. UV-resistant acrylic is designed for outdoor exposure, while the flat exterior profile provides a clean finish alongside the black outer frame.

Push-out opening and adjustable ventilation

The panel opens outwards, with support struts holding the window open so you can adjust airflow. Push-button locking handles secure the panel when closed.

Open the window and use the flyscreen when you want fresh air with an insect barrier. Close and lock the window before travelling.

Integrated blockout blind and flyscreen

The built-in blockout blind gives you privacy and helps darken the interior for sleeping. Its reflective backing helps reduce incoming radiant heat when the blind is drawn.

The blind and flyscreen can operate independently or clip together, allowing you to adjust their position as light, privacy and ventilation needs change.

Powder-coated aluminium frames

The outer frame is black powder-coated aluminium alloy, while the inner frame is white powder-coated aluminium alloy.

The white interior frame houses the blind and flyscreen assembly for a neat internal finish. An EPDM rubber seal forms part of the outer frame’s sealing system.

Choose your corner profile

Match the window profile to the caravan’s wall opening:

• Radius corner profile: rounded R80 corners; suits wall thicknesses of 25–40mm.

• Square corner profile: square corners; suits wall thicknesses of 30–40mm.

For a replacement, match the corner shape, opening dimensions and wall thickness. Refer to the drawing for the chosen profile before cutting a new opening.

Frequently asked questions

Is this window 450mm high and 500mm wide?
Yes. Measurements are Height × Width, so this model is 450mm high × 500mm wide.

Does this caravan window have double glazing?
Yes. The panel uses double-glazed, UV-resistant acrylic.

Are the blockout blind and flyscreen included?
Yes. Both are integrated into the inner assembly and can operate independently or clip together.

Can the window open for ventilation?
Yes. The panel pushes outwards and is held open by support struts. The flyscreen allows airflow while providing an insect barrier.

Yes. The outer frame is black powder-coated aluminium alloy, and the inner frame is white powder-coated aluminium alloy.

Is this the same as a 500mm high × 450mm wide window?
No. This model is 450mm high × 500mm wide. A 500mm high × 450mm wide model has different proportions and installation requirements.

Are 450mm × 500mm the overall external frame dimensions?
No. They identify the nominal window size. Refer to the drawing for the chosen profile for overall frame and installation dimensions.

Will it directly replace every existing window of the same nominal size?
No. The corner profile, actual opening dimensions, wall thickness and surrounding clearance must also suit the replacement.
