SJRV Caravan Window 500mm H × 500mm W – Blind & Flyscreen

Caravan Window – 500mm High × 500mm Wide

The SJRV 500mm H × 500mm W caravan window combines double-glazed acrylic, push-out ventilation, a blockout blind and a flyscreen in one compact window assembly.

Its equal height and width provide square proportions for caravan and RV layouts where a wider window is unnecessary. Open the panel for fresh air, use the flyscreen to keep insects out, or draw the blockout blind for privacy.

Measurements are Height × Width: 500mm high × 500mm wide. These are the nominal window dimensions, not the overall external frame measurements.

This size is available with radius or square corner profiles. The square proportions describe the window’s height and width; the corner profile describes the shape of its corners.

Double-glazed, UV-resistant acrylic

The flat acrylic panel features double glazing to help reduce heat transfer through the window. UV-resistant acrylic is designed for outdoor exposure, while the flat exterior profile gives caravan renovations and new builds a clean finish.

Push-out opening for ventilation

The panel opens outwards, with support struts holding the window open so you can adjust airflow. Push-button locking handles secure the panel when closed.

Use the flyscreen while the window is open to enjoy ventilation with an insect barrier. Close and lock the window before travelling.

Built-in blockout blind and flyscreen

The integrated blockout blind provides privacy and helps darken the caravan interior for sleeping. Its reflective backing helps reduce incoming radiant heat when drawn.

The blind and flyscreen can operate independently or clip together, allowing you to adjust their position as light and ventilation needs change.

Aluminium inner and outer frames

A black powder-coated aluminium alloy outer frame surrounds the acrylic panel. Inside, a white powder-coated aluminium frame houses the blind and flyscreen assembly.

An EPDM rubber seal forms part of the outer frame’s sealing system.

Radius or square corner profile

Choose the profile that matches your caravan’s wall opening:

• Radius corner profile: rounded R80 corners; suits wall thicknesses of 25–40mm.

• Square corner profile: square corners; suits wall thicknesses of 30–40mm.

For replacement installations, match the corner profile, opening dimensions and wall thickness. Refer to the drawing for the chosen profile before cutting a new opening.

Frequently asked questions

Is this window 500mm high and 500mm wide?
Yes. Measurements are Height × Width, so this model has a nominal height of 500mm and width of 500mm.

Does this caravan window have double glazing?
Yes. The panel uses double-glazed, UV-resistant acrylic.

Are a blockout blind and flyscreen included?
Yes. Both are integrated into the inner assembly and can operate independently or clip together.

Can the window open for ventilation?
Yes. The acrylic panel pushes outwards and is held open by support struts. The flyscreen provides an insect barrier while allowing airflow.

Are both frames aluminium?
Yes. The outer frame is black powder-coated aluminium alloy, and the inner frame is white powder-coated aluminium alloy.

Does the 500mm × 500mm size mean it only comes with square corners?
No. This size has equal height and width, but it is available with either radius or square corner profiles.

Are 500mm × 500mm the overall external frame dimensions?
No. They identify the nominal window size. Refer to the drawing for your chosen profile for overall frame and installation dimensions.

Will it directly replace every existing 500mm × 500mm caravan window?
No. The corner profile, actual opening dimensions, wall thickness and surrounding clearance must also suit the replacement.
