SJRV BC50L 12V/24V Caravan Fridge-Freezer – Compact Upright

Compact 12V/24V Caravan Fridge-Freezer

Keep food, drinks and frozen essentials organised in a smaller space with the SJRV BC50L upright compressor fridge-freezer. Its compact cabinet suits caravans, campervans and RV fit-outs where kitchen space is limited.

Commonly described as the 50L model, the BC50L has a specified internal capacity of 44 litres: a 37-litre refrigerator and a 7-litre freezer compartment.

Powered by 12V or 24V DC, it features a variable-speed Huayi compressor, electronic temperature controls, interior lighting and a two-year warranty.

Compact Upright Cabinet

The BC50L measures 380mm wide × 535mm high × 500mm deep. Its front-opening layout provides access to groceries without lifting a chest-fridge lid.

A rear angled section helps accommodate the shape of some vehicle installations. Allow the ventilation and installation clearances required for your setup.

The black finish suits a range of caravan and campervan interiors.

Refrigerator and Freezer Storage

The 37-litre refrigerator compartment provides space for everyday groceries and drinks, with a large bottle holder, door tray and salad bin to keep items organised.

The 7-litre freezer compartment provides separate frozen storage and is listed for temperatures down to −18°C. The refrigerator’s listed temperature range is 0°C to +8°C.

The freezer compartment is removable, providing access for cleaning and configuration in accordance with the product instructions.

Variable-Speed Huayi Compressor

The Huayi compressor adjusts its speed during operation. It runs at a higher speed for temperature pull-down, then reduces speed as it maintains the selected temperature.

This allows cooling performance to adjust to demand while reducing operating noise at lower compressor speeds.

The fridge operates from either 12V or 24V DC.

Electronic Controls and Interior Light

A flush-fitting electronic control panel includes soft-touch buttons, five temperature settings and a power-on indicator.

An infrared sensor activates the LED interior light, helping you locate food and drinks inside the cabinet.

Two-Stage Battery Protection

The BC50L includes a two-stage battery protection system to help protect the connected power supply against excessive discharge.

Battery runtime depends on operating conditions, thermostat settings, ventilation, battery capacity and charging. The listed 60W power figure is not a measurement of average daily energy use.

Choose Your Door Opening

Select left-side or right-side door opening from the product options when ordering. This lets you choose the arrangement that suits your kitchen layout and access space.

No. BC50L is the model designation. Its specified total capacity is 44 litres, comprising 37 litres of refrigerator space and 7 litres of freezer space.

Can it plug directly into a 240V mains socket?

No. It requires 12V or 24V DC. Mains use requires an appropriate charging system or suitable regulated AC-to-DC power supply.

Does the 60W figure tell me how much battery capacity it uses each day?

No. Daily energy consumption depends on compressor cycling, speed, ambient temperature, ventilation and use. A measured daily consumption figure under stated conditions is needed for a reliable runtime calculation.
