SJRV BC85L 12V/24V Caravan Fridge-Freezer – Upright Compressor

SJRV BC85L Upright Caravan Fridge-Freezer

Keep fresh food, drinks and frozen supplies organised with the SJRV BC85L 12V/24V caravan fridge-freezer. Its upright layout provides convenient front access, with a variable-speed Huayi compressor and electronic temperature controls.

Commonly described as the 85L model, the BC85L has a specified total capacity of 83 litres: a 68.5-litre refrigerator and a 14.5-litre freezer compartment.

It provides more storage than the smaller BC50L while retaining a compact cabinet for caravan, campervan and RV installations. A two-year warranty is included.

Refrigerator and Freezer Storage

The 68.5-litre refrigerator compartment provides room for everyday groceries and drinks. A large bottle holder, door tray and salad bin help keep the contents organised.

The 14.5-litre freezer compartment provides space for frozen food and is listed for temperatures down to −18°C. The refrigerator temperature range is 0°C to +8°C.

The removable freezer compartment provides access for cleaning and configuration in accordance with the product instructions.

Variable-Speed Huayi Compressor

The Huayi compressor adjusts its speed during operation. It starts at a moderate speed, increases speed for temperature pull-down, then reduces speed as it maintains the selected temperature.

This helps match cooling operation to demand, with reduced operating noise at lower compressor speeds.

The BC85L operates from either a suitable 12V or 24V DC supply.

Soft-Touch Electronic Controls

The flush-fitting control panel includes soft-touch buttons, a power-on indicator and five temperature settings.

An LED interior light with an infrared sensor illuminates the cabinet, making food and drinks easier to locate.

Two-Stage Battery Protection

A two-stage battery protection system helps protect the connected supply against excessive discharge.

Listed power consumption is approximately 66W. This figure does not establish daily battery use, which depends on compressor cycling, ambient temperature, ventilation, thermostat settings and how the fridge is used.

Cabinet Fit and Door Options

The fridge measures 475mm wide × 635mm high × 555mm deep. A rear angled section helps accommodate the shape of some vehicle installations.

Choose left-side or right-side door opening from the product options when ordering. This allows you to match the opening direction to your kitchen layout.

Allow the installation clearances and ventilation required for the fridge, as well as space for the door to open freely.
